The existing four storey office block composed of two independent floor plates sharing a common lobby has been remade as a single entity for this innovative conglomerate of travel related enterprises.

Flanked by two thick solid side walls of large Cintered ceramic tile panels, a multi storey glass roofed Lobby and glass lift core serves as a transparent link bridging the two transformed floor plates. The paired office wings each feature a dedicated service core abutting the lobby side walls, freeing the remaining three facades, sheathed in floor to ceiling fritted glazing and shielded from glare by projecting metal fins at each vertical mullion line.

A visitor to the Ground Floor East Wing enters a spacious sequence of Reception, Waiting, quiet Library and Pre function areas as a prelude to a series of wood paneled meeting rooms. Varying in size from that of the 20 seat Board Room, the 12, 8 and 4 seat rooms are equipped with state of the art interactive media and display systems. The Ground Floor West Wing houses a set of common functions, including a large Multipurpose Room having an industrial aesthetic and featuring a metal clad sculptural Kitchen element affectionately known as “The Egg”.

Typical office floors each feature a large “Public Square” on the west and an intimate Café on the east wing designed as casual breakout spaces to foster relaxation and interaction. The south facing exposures are lined with a series of glass walled Executive Cabins also equipped for small private meetings. The balance of the perimeter is occupied by Open Plan Office space outfitted with a variety of work station types. No individual is ever more than 7.5 meters from abundant natural light.
