shirley fujikawa AIA co-founded Studio u+a in 1995. She received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and is a Registered Architect in New York State. Shirley is the Principal Designer of Studio u+a with an interest in projects of urban scale and complexity. She has led projects in North America, Europe and India. Prior to the formation of Studio u+a, Shirley was a consultant to Olympia & York on the design of public spaces at Canary Wharf in London and later to Reichmann International on the design of two large scale mixed use developments in Mexico City.

vinay kapoor is the co-founder of Studio u+a and received a Master of Architecture from University of Toronto and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University. He has extensive experience in the design and management of large scale urban projects of the highest international standards. Vinay was a senior executive responsible for design for Olympia & York on the World Financial Centre in New York City and later at Canary Wharf in London. He also managed the design and development of three complex large scale projects for Reichmann International in Mexico City.

peter ching has been a Principal at Studio u+a London since 2007. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and is a Registered Architect in New York. Peter has over 30 years of international work experience gained through projects in New York, Boston, London and Rome. Peter participated on the Canary Wharf Development in London from 1989 to 2003 and has experience concentrating on large scale urban design and architectural projects. His UK projects as Principal of Koetter Kim and Associates UK include the Scottish Equitable Headquarters Building, the Reader's Digest Headquarters, and the Pacific Quay Master Plan in Glasgow. Peter serves as a CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment) enabler and an urban design advisor to the City of Hull.

joseph de pace joined Studio u+a New York as a Principal in 2004. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the City College of New York and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome. As a Registered Architect in private practice in New York from 1985 to 2004, Joseph realized a broad range of projects, from private residences both locally and abroad, to significant works of public art throughout the United States.

sugato debgupta Associate, India. A post-graduate in Architecture (Urban Design) with more than 29 years of professional experience, Sugato has worked as a project team lead and project director on a number of master-planning, architectural and interior design projects in studio u+a over the last 17 years. He is currently in charge of India operations of the studio.
